US Forces German Driving Practice Test

Following the officer's directions promptly and safely is crucial for maintaining traffic order and ensuring everyone's safety. Traffic officers are trained to manage road situations, especially in complex or hazardous environments, and their hand signals are designed to communicate important information quickly and effectively. By adhering to these signals, you contribute to a smoother flow of traffic and help avoid potential accidents or confusion that could arise from actions contrary to the officer's directions.

Ignoring the signals, attempting to understand them before acting, or waiting for other drivers to respond can lead to dangerous situations. Such actions may disrupt the intended traffic flow or create misunderstandings about the current traffic conditions, significantly increasing the risk of accidents. Prioritizing the officer's instructions is essential for both your safety and that of other road users.
